21 September 2025, Kuala Lumpur - As the Special Olympics Asia Pacific Badminton Competition in Malayasia wrapped up, we salute our amazing athletes and unified partners who have truly demonstrated how sport has the power to bridge perceived differences, break down barriers and bring people of all abilities together!
The competition featured Men’s and Women’s Singles and Doubles, along with Unified Doubles, a unique category where athletes with and without intellectual disabilities compete side by side, underscoring true inclusion, teamwork and unity through sport.
Our badminton players hailing from 10 countries across the region, went through extensive training and preparation to demonstrate their resilience, talent, courage, and sportsmanship on an international stage and we couldn’t be prouder of them.
