SO Selangor State Games 2021 was held from 20-22 May 2022
253 Athletes from various PDKs, private centers located in various district in Selangor took part in the recently concluded Selangor State Games that was held from 20-22 May 2022 at the main venue MBSJ Arena Stadium USJ5. The Athletes and Unified Partners competed in the sports of Athletics, Bocce, Badminton, Bowling, and Tables Tennis and were supported by 76 volunteers and coaches and of course their parents. The Bowling competition was held at Ampang Superbowl at The Summit, USJ.
A free Healthy Athletes screening was also conducted by our clinical directors with the support of Lion Club International Opening Eye program. The Special Olympics Lions Clubs International Foundation Opening Eyes program is changing lives in communities across the globe by providing comprehensive eye assessments, prescription eyewear, sunglasses and sports goggles to Special Olympics athletes and people with intellectual disabilities in general.. We are grateful to all the sponsors and volunteers for making this event a success.
