375 athletes to compete at Azman Hashim Community Sport Centre Sibu Jaya supported by some 475 volunteers at Special Olympics 6th State Games.
Special Olympics Sarawak will be hosting its 6th State Games at Azman Hashim Community Sport Centre Sibu Jaya from 1-3 July 2022. A total of 375 athletes will compete in seven sports namely Athletics, Bowling, Badminton, Bocce, Table Tennis, Swimming, and Soccer. Athletes will compete in both the Unified and Traditional format for Athletics, Bowling, Badminton, Bocce, and Table Tennis while athletes in Swimming and Soccer will compete in Traditional and Unified format respectively.
There will be a free health screening services for all the athletes conducted by our Clinical Directors under the Special Olympics Healthy Athletes program and will be supported by some 150 volunteers.
Azman Hashim Community Sports Centre, Sibu Jaya, Sarawak is the official venue for the Special Olympics Sarawak 6th State Games 2022.
