Story of Special Family
Shereen Khoo, an outstanding mum who raised up her 2 children diagnosed with Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) all by herself. As a single mother, things were quite challenging for her for the past 20 years in raising up her children. She is an active member of Special Olympics Selangor. Here she shares how she discovered her children's sewing talent and she supported and nurture their talent.
She sends her 2 children to play bowling and received training from Special Olympics Selangor regularly. She actively volunteers at the special Olympics events. View her story here.
Sumazau Dance by SO Sabah athletes
See the performance of SO Sabah athletes doing the Sumazau Dance in conjunction with the "Tadau Kaamatan" or Harvest Festival which is celebrated by Kadazan Dusun as well as other related ethnic groups in Sabah. Kadazan Dusun is the largest indigenous group in Sabah and Tadau Kaamatan is celebrated annually throughout the month of May.
