When you donate to us, you are gifting a child or adult with an intellectual disability the joy of competition, the thrill of achievement, the long-term benefits of physical activity, and a sense of belonging. Through Special Olympics, athletes are empowered to be leaders in society. They’re given opportunities to learn skills that transcend the playing field. Athletes hold jobs, go to school, and are active members in their communities.

Sports & Competitions

One of our core activities are to provide year-round sports training and competitions for peoples with Intellectual Disabilities. Funding is required for organizing National games and cost of travel for sending our athletes to Regional and International sports competitions.

Inclusive Health

Collaborating with our athletes, health care providers, community organizations, universities, and governments we provide health screening through healthy athletes program.

Administration

Administration cost of running sports competitions, purchase of sports equipment, sports facilities rental, office expense and salary of the full time secretariat staffs.
